FAIRFIELD -

Police say a Fairfield woman was arrested after she allegedly threatened to kill her mother.

They say Melissa McMillan was charged with breach of peace and threatening.

Authorities say they received a call from McMillan's brother last week saying she was intoxicated, yelling and refusing to leave the house.

He says when he got there, she was yelling, screaming and allegedly threatened to kill their mother.

The Connecticut Post reports McMillan is on probation.
