Staff at the Beardsley Zoo are doing their best to protect the animals in their care from the dangerous heat.
Officials say they give the animals cold water and air conditioning.
The zoo's director says animals also instinctively know how to take care of themselves in hot weather.
Gregg Dancho said, “We let them do what they do naturally - rest, relax, drink their water, eat their food, and just leave them alone and they know what to do."
There are also water features in many of the habitats to help the animals cool off.
Video of the animals in the heat can be found here.
