1 injured when train strikes bus in Garfield

One person was injured after a New Jersey Transit train struck a bus in Garfield.
The crash happened just before 5 p.m. Monday when Train 66 on the Bergen County Line struck the New Jersey Transit bus on Midland Avenue. 
NJ Transit says that the bus was under contract by Community Coach at the time. There were 15 passengers on the bus. One person was treated for injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
No one on the train was injured.
Bergen County Line trains were suspended in both directions for a time.
