A police sergeant and a professional chef went head-to-head in a cooking duel at a senior residence in Darien on Thursday.
Atria Senior Living’s Chef Carrington Parker took on Sgt. Keri Isaac in the Battle of the Tomato.
Both chefs planned and prepared meals with only one rule: they had to use tomatoes as an ingredient.
Chef Parker's grilled steak with caprese salad and Issac's fish tacos and salsa were judged by a five-person panel of Atria residents and Darien police.
It was a close call, but Chef Parker won by one point.
