As Hurricane Michael hits the Florida panhandle, relief agencies across Connecticut are ready to respond to the region.
Members of Save the Children were pre-positioning themselves in Georgia near the organization's supplies. The agency's mission is to make sure kids and families who have been forced into shelters have what they need.
In Stamford, workers at Americares are also looking south, packing up medical supplies to send to the area. There is also a team stationed in Jacksonville ready to work with health care officials and hospitals.
This latest relief effort comes as both agencies are still working to help those hit by Hurricane Florence.
