Stamford announces recipients of artist grants

Stamford officials took the time to recognize the contributions of its many artists.

The city announced the winners of its Community Arts Partnership Program. 

Mayor David Martin said the recipients help make Stamford a great place to live, and hopes these grants can spur even more interest in the arts.

“You are what makes life enjoyable, you're what makes Stamford a great community to live in and I wish more people would take advantage of the concerts and the artistic expressions that you offer day in and day out throughout the community,” said Martin.

The awards are made by possible by city grants ranging from $3,500 to $15,000.
