Police have identified a man and woman killed in a Torrington motorcycle crash.

Danielle Dubois, 36, and Christopher Massey, 36, both of Torrington, died Wednesday on Goshen Road and University Drive. 

Police say the motorcycle, a pickup truck and a small van were all involved in the fatal crash around 6:30 p.m.

The motorcycle crossed the center line and struck the rear of the pickup truck and then lost control and struck the van head on.

Police say both Dubois and Massey were riding on the motorcycle when they were both thrown from the bike.

The area near the crash was shut down for six hours, police say. 

 

The drivers of the pickup truck and van were not injured and are cooperating with police.

Police say they do not suspect any of the drivers were impaired.
