From denim jackets to shiny shoes if your kids are heading back to school, then you're probably shopping.

Taryn Bolotin, of Ring around the Rosy consignment shop in Westport, says she sees a lot of back-to-school shoppers.

"It's a good time to come is two weeks before school starts because that is when we will have our racks full with fall clothes," Bolotin says.

The 80s trends are back like velvet and more sparkles and patterns.

Plaids and graphics are trending for boys, Bolotin says. 

"As fall begins the weather shifts, fashions change, and kids keep growing. Consignment shopping can be one way to deal with all those challenges," she says.
