Hundreds of students in Stamford got to have some fun while learning about science, technology, engineering and math.
Organizers say 70 volunteers from over 10 companies teamed up with the United Way for a STEM Fair at the Yerwood Center. Students were able to do anything from making slime to meeting crustaceans up close.
Organizers say it's important to engage children in fun and educational ways.
They say 260 students participated in the event, known as the "Day of Action."
