This week, Chef Diego Burgos shows Tina Redwine how to make a sweet holiday dessert that will make your taste buds go bananas.
Bananas Fosters
2 bananas, sliced
2 oz brown sugar
2 oz butter
1 oz meyers dark rum
1 oz 99 bananas liqueur
cinnamon
4 scoops ice cream
 
Method:
1. Heat large saute pan
2. add butter, sugar and bananas
3. when sugar liquefies, add liquor, be careful as alcohol will ignite
4. sprinkle cinnamon over flames, to create sparkle effect
5. when flames burn off, simmer until sauce consistency
6. serve over ice cream
