Three workers at the Hospital of Central Connecticut recently contracted the mumps.
Hospital officials say the workers were likely sickened by the same patient.
All hospital staff members have had at least two mumps vaccines and are now being offered a third dose.
There's no evidence the virus spread to others, but the hospital is reaching out to patients treated between Dec. 14 and 22 just in case.
