Posted: Updated:

Two women were caught trying to steal $1,500 worth of frozen seafood from a Milford ShopRite, police say.

Jessica Stanwicks, 38, and Lashay Paige, 38, were arrested Tuesday and charged with larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny.

Police say Stanwicks and Paige entered the ShopRite on 935 Boston Post Road Tuesday with two men.

Police say the four attempted to steal frozen seafood, but were confronted by ShopRite loss prevention.

The two men ran out of the store, and took off in a tan-colored minivan leaving Stanwicks and Paige behind.

Both women were arrested by Milford police.

Police say Stanwicks was also charged for failing to appear in court and that there was an active warrant for her arrest.
