Westport officials say they will work alongside health officials to determine if and when it is necessary to close schools due to the coronavirus.
The town says it's urging residents to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's guidelines and to limit social activities for the elderly and those with compromised immune systems.

The state lab continues to conduct testing for COVID-19. It has tested more than 45 people and all of them were negative.
The announcement came as Gov. Ned Lamont confirmed a Wilton resident tested positive for coronavirus.
