Officials say the bomb squad was called to a Westport apartment complex after a hand grenade was discovered by a worker.
The incident happened at Regents Park condominium complex on Post Road East. Officials say an individual working at a unit within the complex reported encountering what he believed to be a hand grenade.
The grenade was confirmed to be inert, and after a sweep of the unit, no explosive material was found.
