Police in Bridgeport say a body was pulled from the water at Captain's Cove in the city Thursday morning.

Police in Bridgeport say a body was pulled from the water at Captain's Cove in the city Thursday morning.
The body of a male senior citizen was recovered after police say a caller notified 911 that it was seen floating offshore.

Police tweeted that there was a "report of a body recovered in the water at 1 Bostwick Avenue."
 
Bridgeport police, the fire department, and AMR all responded to the scene.
Police say the man may have suffered a medical episode before falling into the water. 
They say foul play is not suspected, and the medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
