Officials called for an early dismissal at Stratford High School Tuesday due to extremely high temperatures.
They say the upper classrooms reached over 90 degrees. Parents were notified at around 10:30 a.m. that students would be dismissed at 12:30 p.m.
One student told News 12 Connecticut that the heat was unbearable.
Foran High School in Milford also had an early dismissal due to air conditioning issues.
