James Tedesco, the Stratford man accused of a deadly wrong-way crash on I-95 in Milford over the Thanksgiving weekend, was scheduled to be in court today, but the case was continued until Jan. 11, 2023.
Police say Tedesco was traveling in the wrong direction when he hit another vehicle head on.
The driver of the second vehicle was Tianzhu Yuan, of North Haven, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
During the investigation, police officers smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from Tedesco's breath.
He admitted to drinking prior to the crash, but refused to take any field sobriety tests.
Tedesco was arrested and charged with operating under the influence.
