A new study shows eating cooked vegetables doesn't necessarily reduce your risk of heart disease over time.
The study looked at the diets of nearly 400,000 adults in the UK.
Researchers say they found no evidence for a protective effect.
The study did find eating raw vegetables does offer some protection, but that lifestyle choices like exercise mattered just as much.
