The Bridgeport Police Department is asking for the community?s help to identify two men caught on surveillance tapes conducting armed robberies.
Police say the two robberies took place in Bridgeport within a week. The Holiday Inn hotel was robbed on Tuesday night. Surveillance captured one suspect as he showed a gun and the clerk handed over about $500 in cash. The other robbery took place last Friday at the TD Banknorth on Madison Avenue. The cameras rolled as the robber ripped a fire extinguisher from the wall, jumped the teller counter and escaped.
Detectives say these men are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information if asked to contact the Bridgeport Police Department.
