The search has ended for the man accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a Stamford parking garage this week. After receiving a tip, Stamford detectives headed to White Plains where they spotted the suspect driving on I-684. Police say they followed Gary Roger Fricker until he got on the New York State Thruway in Tarrytown. That?s when New York State police say they rammed the van Fricker was driving. Upon his capture, police say Fricker tried to escape but was tasered and arrested.Police say Fricker has a long criminal record including arrests in Florida, but no prior sex offenses. He is being held at the Westchester County Jail and faces extradition to Connecticut and Florida. Meanwhile, the 40-year-old woman police say Fricker sexually assaulted in front of her two children has been released from the hospital.
