A teacher from Ocean City is accused of flashing a woman on a public beach this summer while working as a lifeguard.
The incident happened back on July 29 on the Surf Road Beach.
According to an affidavit of probable cause, Christopher Denn, 48, was working on the beach when a woman told his co-workers he exposed himself to her.
The affidavit says up to 500 people were on the beach that day, likely including children.
Denn made his first appearance in court Thursday after being charged last month with criminal sexual contact and committing lewdness witnessed by children, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
Denn’s attorney says he's trying to work something out with the prosecution.
Denn teaches at Mainland Regional High School.
