The Bridgeport Islanders will be holding their annual Teddy Bear Drive to benefit children from low-income communities.

Each fan who donates a new toy or stuffed animal prior to Saturday night's game receives a golden ticket.

The winner will be announced after the Islanders' first goal.

This week, the players' patners went shopping in Milford and spent more than $1,000 on toys that will also be given to the Hometown Foundation.

The team says it's important to give back.

Puck drops Saturday night at 7 p.m.
