The Fairfield University Women’s Basketball Stags is this week's News 12 Connecticut Team of the Week, sponsored by the Hospital for Special Surgery. 

The Stags have reeled off seven straight wins en route to a 9-1 record. 

The women's basketball team played so well it earned a spot in the top 25. 

They were voted #19 in the College Insider mid-major poll earlier this week. 

The Stags will be playing again on Dec. 30.
