A 16-year-old is at Stamford Hospital after being shot in the abdomen in a drive-by shooting on the city's East Side.

Police were called to a public housing complex on Custer Street Monday night. Officers say someone fired five shots from the passenger-side window of a car, hitting the teen and two other cars. Police say the victim?s injuries are non-life threatening.

According to police, the victim lives in the complex. They do not know if he was targeted or if the shooting is at all gang related.
