Temporary staircase at YMCA of Greenwich removed

Greenwich town leaders helped take down the temporary staircase this morning that has been outside the local YMCA since 2006. The stairs were put up as part of a renovation project and are no longer needed.

Temporary staircase at YMCA of Greenwich removed
Greenwich town leaders helped take down the temporary staircase this morning that has been outside the local YMCA since 2006. The stairs were put up as part of a renovation project and are no longer needed. The wood from the temporary staircase is being donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich. The club plans to use the materials for a tree house and obstacle course at its camp on Lake Avenue.
