A Thornwood resident is set to perform this coming weekend at the Pleasantville Music Festival.
Emily Angell will appear at the festival’s Chill Tent Stage on Saturday.
The festival says Angell’s been “compared to Alanis Morissette, Jewel, and Christina Aguilera—a pretty diverse set—though her sound is all her own” with influences of “folk, a bit roots, and a bit electro-pop...her EPs, The Upset (2011) and Let Go (2015), have earned her amazing reviews and airtime."
The festival runs on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9:15 p.m.  at the Parkway Field in Pleasantville.
