Three southwestern Connecticut communities were honored in Hartford Thursday as the best places for young people. Milford, Stamford and Bridgeport each received a proclamation from the state for youth programs and organizations. They were also honored last month as three of America's top 100 communities for young people. Bridgeport Mayor John Fabrizi says the honor does a lot to encourage continued dedication to youth programs.
