Tight security measures are in place at New Canaan High School Wednesday after a bomb threat targeting the school was mailed to the town's police department.
Principal Tony Pavia sent a letter home to parents Tuesday alerting them of the threat, although he could not go into details about what the threat said.
Restrictions now in place at the school forbid students from bringing in backpacks. Students also have limited access to the front entrance, the gym, the cafeteria and the campus is closed during school hours. Meanwhile, police say they have a couple of potential leads in the case.
