Tinseltown makes its way to the Park City
Bridgeport residents are on the lookout for some stars as Tinseltown makes its way to the Park City.
Movie trailers are lined up along East Main Street and Barnum Avenue. Walt Disney Studios has set up shop to film the upcoming comedy ?Confessions of a Shopaholic.? The studio rented a floor inside the Bridgeport Trade and Technology Center.
The film?s star, Isla Fisher, could be seen walking down Barnum Avenue Thursday getting ready to film a scene.
The movie?s executive producer, Ron Bozman, says there are at least 200 extras, many of them from the area. Bozman also says the crew will stay in Bridgeport at least five days to film in various locations. Other scenes will also be shot in Stamford and Norwalk.
Many big movie studios are filming in southwestern Connecticut because of the tax break incentives.
