The nor'easter Friday downed trees and caused vehicles to get stuck in Stamford.
Multiple trees fell on Shippan Avenue, with one just missing a house.
Another downed tree led to power outages on Vine Road in the Springdale area.
Along the shoreline, a car and two buses got stuck on Weed Avenue near Cove Island Park. One driver had to be rescued. Not far from there, Cummings Park was closed Friday because it was underwater. High water also hit the South End at Dolphin Cove.
The strong wind from the storm blew the roof off an apartment building on Myrtle Avenue.
Stamford's mayor said his biggest fear was the temperatures dropping overnight, causing roads to ice over.
