Trial begins for ex-Milford officer accused in fatal crash
The trial of a former Milford police officer who is charged with killing two local teens in a car crash got under way today.
Officials say Jason Anderson was returning from a call at more than 90 mph on Post Road in Orange when his cruiser hit a car carrying Ashlie Krakowski and David Servin, both 19 years old, in 2009.
A number of witnesses took the stand today, including a fellow police officer who witnessed the crash. Officer Richard Pisani said he saw Anderson's police cruiser speed past him and then hit the car.
The trial is expected to continue through Friday of next week.
