Two Roads brewery unveils second Stratford location
Two Roads brewery has opened a second location in Stratford.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Thursday for the brewery's 'Area Two' location.
Mayor Laura Hoydick and the owners of Two Roads were on site to reveal the brewery's second spot.
Owner Brad Hittle says the brand new building located on a 10-acre campus will specialize in barrel-aged and experimental beers.
"Area Two ages the beer for 24 months in barrels from Italy, France and California," Hittle says.
The brewery can house up to 1,500 wood barrels and will contain a tasting room with an outdoor deck, small private event facility and a coolship.
The new $15 million brewery will open to the public on March 11.
