UConn's quarterback is quitting football over concussions.
Casey Cochran walked away from the sport yesterday despite winning the starting job for this season.
The sophomore from Monroe says the decision comes after he suffered another concussion.
School officials say Cochran will continue to serve the team as a mentor and is interested in a coaching career.
