A UCONN student is accused of spray painting a swastika on a campus building across from a Jewish community center.
Police say Kristopher Pieper, 21, painted a white-colored swastika on the chemistry building at the Storrs campus on March 27.
Police say Pieper told them he was "upset" with certain Jewish religious practices.
The 21-year-old was arrested yesterday on campus.
He is charged with intimidation based on bigotry or bias and criminal mischief.
UConn police say this is an active investigation
