Big changes are coming to the old Bow Tie Cinema movie theater in Wilton.
The "Prospector Theater" group now owns the theater, and plans to feature first-run movies and be staffed by adults with disabilities.
"We offer meaningful employment for adults with disabilities in an integrated, competitive work environment," says Valerie Jensen, executive director of Prospector Theater. "All of our employees are named prospects and prospects thrive, involved in every single level of the operation, from entry level up to management. And I think we really change people's lives."
Renovations are expected to take about eight months.
