The URSA Gallery held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Arcade Mall in Bridgeport Saturday.

The two men who run the gallery say they've put together a world class collection of treasures by some of the most gifted female artists in the tri-state area.

They say the women traveled to London last year on a brief art trip, and what's on display "reflects the delicate insights they gathered in their travels."

Sen. Richard Blumenthal called the collection "a brilliant example of contemporary art at its best, reflecting the many ways the world has changed due to the pandemic."
