Fairfield police are looking for those responsible for the vandalism found at a school playground.

Police say purple graffiti was found on the playground at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School Wednesday, and could be gang-related. The graffiti, which was found on the basketball hoop padding and climbing wall, has since been removed.

Authorities have also increased patrols in the area.

Administrators say the playground cost thousands of dollars to recently rebuild. Anyone that recognizes the drawings or knows anything regarding the incident should call police.
