The Department of Veteran Affairs held an identity theft outreach program Wednesday at Norwalk City Hall.
The program was held in response to Tuesday?s report of a stolen CD containing the personal information of more than 26 million veterans.
The VA noted that veterans at a high risk are those who have filed a claim in the past. Although the VA says if you haven?t filed a claim you should be safe, they are urging all veterans to watch their financial information very closely.
