Vietnam vet says 3 men carjacked him in Bridgeport
A Vietnam veteran says three men carjacked and threatened to kill him in Bridgeport.
Richard Grams, 68, says he was driving down Sylvan Avenue around 1 p.m. Friday when three men in a green Ford forced him off the road. He says the men threatened to kill him if he did not let them take his 2001 Chevy Blazer, which was later found on Division Street by police.
Police Chief AJ Perez says investigators are reviewing surveillance video that may have recorded the crime.
Grams says he is a peaceful man who is currently focused on fighting two aggressive forms of cancer -- one of which he says is related to his exposure to Agent Orange during the war.
Grams served in Vietnam between 1968 and 1971.
