Vintage Garden in Fairfield donates 50% of Friday's sales to Save the Children fund

The fund helps the nonprofit provide immediate lifesaving support to children who are impacted by disasters and other events.

Vintage Garden in Fairfield donated 50% of Friday's sales to Children's Emergency Fund at Save the Children.
The fund helps the nonprofit provide immediate lifesaving support to children who are impacted by disasters and other events.
The Fairfield-based nonprofit remains on the ground in Turkey and Syria following last week's earthquakes.
"They're a local entity again that we supported with sale days going to their effort and right now just there's such a need to support this great effort that is going to take a long time to recover from," said assistant manager at Vintage Garden Lara Linsenmeyer.
The gift shop usually does one-to-two events a year to benefit Save the Children.
