Volunteers repair hangar at Sikorsky Memorial Airport

Volunteers at Sikorsky Memorial Airport in Stratford spent the day clearing the way for a new aviation museum.

After the roof of a 1929 hangar sustained damage during Hurricane Sandy, volunteers were brought in to repair and restore it.

The hangar will be the new home for the Connecticut Air and Space Center's collection of aviation artifacts.
