A water main break in Hudson County caused some traffic issues near Weehawken and Hoboken for most of Wednesday.

The 12-inch water main broke during the morning rush hour on the Weehawken side of the Park Avenue Bridge. Repairs prompted the closures of Park Avenue from 15th Street to 19th Street.

The repairs were completed just before 5 p.m. – in time for the evening commute.

Representatives from SUEZ Water said that the break did not disrupt water service and a boil water advisory did not need to be issued.
