News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers say heavier rain is likely to begin in Connecticut during the afternoon and evening hours.
SUNDAY: Cloudy with periods of rain and storms after 7:30/8 a.m. These rounds bring more organized cells and thunder is possible after 11 a.m. into the evening. Some storms could just miss us and skirts east or west of state in the latter half of the day. Highs near 60. Lows near 52.
MONDAY: Clouds and sunshine with slightly warmer temps. Highs near 61. Lows near 45.
TUESDAY: Some sun with clouds and a chance for showers with 57 degrees. Lows near 43.
WEDNESDAY: Cooler into the 50s. shower chances again. Highs near 55. Lows near 45.
THURSDAY: Pick of the week material! Warming up again! Into the upper 50s with sunshine! Lows near 47.
FRIDAY - CINCO DE MAYO: 60 degrees, sun and clouds mix. Highs near seasonal with overnight lows near 48.
