A Westport businessman is donating thousands of bottles of sanitizer fluids to medical centers across western Connecticut.
Lorenzo DePlano of Nu-X Ventures donated more than 62,000 bottles and bulk-gallons of sanitizer to hundreds of hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and nursing homes across the country -- including Stamford Hospital and Bridgeport Hospital.
The California-based company and its Westport co-founder Justin Galloway is working with a registered nurse from Greenwich, Sara Herbert Galloway, to ramp up donations.
DePlano says their goal is to donate 300,000 bottles over the next few weeks.
