Westport deli opens for first time following Sandy

Art's Deli in Wesport has reopened its doors after severe flooding from Superstorm Sandy flooded the establishment.Richard Falcone, the owner of the deli, said that the bottom two feet of the store was flooded, damaging compressors, motors and forcing him to throw out all of the food.To make matters worse, Falcone said that his insurance didn't cover the flooding, and the losses ended up totaling about $25,000.According to Falcone, crews had to work around the clock for two weeks to get the deli up and running, but making his customers happy makes all the work worth it.
