Winchester police warn residents of 2 daytime burglaries
Police are asking residents to be on alert following two recent daytime burglaries in Winchester.
They say a person kicked in the door of a home on Walnut Street last month. The suspect stole a PlayStation, an engagement ring, loose change and a handgun.
Earlier this week, a woman called police from Holabird Avenue saying she saw a man running from her home. Police say the back door was kicked in and they have a potential suspect.
Officials are urging residents to report anything suspicious.
