At least one person was transported to the hospital after a stabbing near a middle school, according to officials.
It happened near Intermediate School 181 in Co-op City at the intersection of Baychester Avenue and Donizetti Place around 7 a.m.
Witnesses say a group of middle school boys attacked another boy and quickly ran off.
Police say one person was transported to Jacobi Medical Center with a stab wound.
They are not releasing the boy's age, name or condition.
However, police say they are looking for multiple suspects.
News 12 has reached out to the school and the Board of Education and are awaiting a reply.
