Bridgeport police arrested a 46-year-old woman today in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash.

Police say Patricia Daniels caused the crash that killed 51-year-old Evelyn Agyei, of Stratford, and injured her 11-year-old son. The crash happened Dec. 4 on Boston Avenue. Police say Daniels' BMW ran Agyei off the road and into a tree.

Daniels posted the $150,000 bond following her arrest. She says she is a 17-year veteran of the Bridgeport Correctional Facility and has never been in trouble with the law. She maintains police have the wrong person.

Daniels is charged with second-degree manslaughter and risk of injury to a minor.
