A Bridgeport woman says her dog's alertness saved her life.

Jackie Moore says her dog Adonis saved her from being crushed by a 50-foot tree that crashed into her backyard at 1223 Wood Ave. She says Adonis' bark may be intimidating to some, but it's the only warning she received to get out of the tree's way.

Moore says the storm that ripped through Bridgeport last Friday blew the tree over.
