A Woodbridge business owner arrested with his sons for allegedly selling drugs out of his store spoke exclusively today with News 12 Connecticut. John Connelly and sons Michael and John III were taken into custody earlier this month. Police say the trio had been selling prescription drugs, marijuana and heroin out of Connelly Gold and Diamond Exchange on Litchfield Turnpike. However, Connelly says authorities are harassing them and even assaulted one of his sons with a Taser during the arrest. He also says he plans to sue the Woodbridge Police Department. Police would not comment on the case.
